Default 1977 Ez-Go could use a couple inchs lift

If you check my other 2 threads in reference to my 1977 ez-go rebuild you can see I increased the wheel base and such.

I feel like I need about 2 inchs of lift to clear some roots and such in places i may go at some point.Lifting the rear is no problem. But there does not appear to be any way to lift the front unless I make new king pin bolts that the spring mounts to.Then if I went over a inch or 2,I feel like it would weaken the front end purty bad.And for the life of me,there is NO where to mount front shocks.
Hum?
Any thoughts? So far I have not dragged on anything and no problems but I am just fishing for ideas at this time.

A lift won't help ground clearance. Only larger tires will raise your axles.

Ok,well, what I am looking at is catching the middle of the frame on something as a problem. But yea, bigger wheels yet again.Hum.
But I have to clear the wheels with the body.So something has to be done there.
I will live with it for now I guess.
Wanted to stay slim wheels on this 1.The wider 1's look ok but just not my cup of joe :>)
