Default Stereo Battery Power

I have a 2005 Club Car Gas Cart and have added a stereo and Amp. The stereo will clip when I turn it up.. I have added a capacitor to see if it would solve the issue but did not. Can an extra battery be added and will the generator/starter be able to handle it. Or is there another solution that someone can assist me with. I would like to add a powered subwoofer but until I solve this issue I cannot.

Thanks

I was wondering if a small solar panel on the roof would be enough to keep the battery charged?
