1991 ds cranks but wont start

Ignition coils for the 1990-91 Club Car carts are easy to find. It's the 1984-1989 Club Car coils that are still pretty hard to find.

Plugged exhaust!! I would never guessed. Finally after trying everything to the point of giving up I unbolted the header pipe and instantly had power!! I took the exhaust completely off and sprayed carb cleaner and blew air through it. Put it back together and she runs great! Thanks everyone for the help

When you blew out the pipes did lots of debris come out?

Springbok, It was more oily black gunk. I did soak it with carb clean though. So I assume it was plugged with carbon. It's smoking pretty good under hard acceleration. I need to take it to the campground and run it hard this weekend. "blow the cobwebs out"

I did find after searching for a coil though that it's actually a 1989. It's not my cart its a neighbors at the campground but i'm glad it wasn't the coil. I'd still be searching for parts.

I do have a question you probably can answer Springbok. How many turns out on the needle is an Ideal setting on that fe82 carb?

To be honest I've never messed with any of the carb settings. Since I got into this hobby I've had several KF82 carbs laying around from a couple of my parts motors, so when one carb starts acting up I just swap it out. Haven't yet had the need to tear into one and/or make specific adjustments.
