Flasher

I pulled off my 3 prong flasher without looking at the wires, which wire goes where. Also when I first start out it hesitates actually it does nothing I push the pedal a quarter of the way halfway three quarters all the way to the floor feather it back-and-forth and finally after several seconds it will finally start to move what could be the problem .thank you in advance
