Does the solenoid click when you depress the pedal?

Re: 04 club car precedent wont start
Most likely there's something wrong with the "GCOR" or the microswitch behind the F&R switch. Check the micro switch first. There are two. One is for the reverse buzzer and it's irrelevant to your problem. The one next to it is the one that you need to check. Use a multimeter to check it for continuity. Unplug all three wires from it. With one lead on the top tab, the lower tabs should alternate continuity when the microswitch is engaged or disengaged. If you get continuity to both tabs you can eliminate the switch as the problem. Pull the floor mat up and inspect the wire harness very good underneath the passenger side of the floormat. Water likes to collect in that channel and I've seen it deteriorate the wire harness and cause a short. Check that really good to make sure there's no corrosion or broken wires. If that checks out good, I'd replace the GCOR. The GCOR is mounted to the bottom of the accelerator pedal. It contains microswitches that make the solenoid click when the pedal is depressed. It's a sealed unit and you can't change the switches. You must replace the entire GCOR. Let me know if you need one and I'll be more than happy to help you out.
