I think you have it backwards... the front (primary) clutch is the drive clutch, (higher top speed)
and the rear is the driven (secondary) clutch... (low end torque)
Now... machining the driven (rear) clutch will get you the torque that you'll need to push a race car,
How it's done??? I don't know!

Cart Parts Plus has been machining most of BGW members driven clutches for years,
I understand that you have the tools to do it yourself.... but I just don't know how it's done!

I know which clutch is which I was just mistaken on which way it was in my mind yes the primary is on the engine and if you make the clutches on the secondary smaller it'll give you more low end torque you were right

Okay... So now... what's your goal?

Ample torque to push the race car?
Or...
Race the race car?

(sorry... I just had too!)

Yes you have a point but when we push the car I don't want to be the last one on the return road but its not bad to have the fastest car and the slowest cart

I understand!

Next question... would you consider upgrading your engine and throwing a bit of extra money into your cart?
If so... all I can think of is a V-twin... then you can have the best of both worlds!

I just got your reply Sunday night and we will have to try to push the race car at least one time with this and see how we like it if not we think we are going to go with the V twin maybe I could take the motor out of my VTX 1300 that would be cool
