Default One more stupid question for the first timer.

Will the needle be all the way to the left when the batteries are fully charged?

Ok I lied I'm sure I will have more...

As it charges, the needle will drop as the current is reduced. It should get down to zero when the batteries are fully charged.

You need a charger with automatic cut off.

This charger seems to be the type that you need to cycle yourself.

Better to get a DPI or or other reputable golf cart charger.

I have that same charger. I love it for picking up low batteries. That said, that charger is not automatic, and WILL overcharge your batteries if left unattended. I dont even leave that charger on a cart overnight. The amp meter is not robust either, mine melted (as indicated externally by a sticking needle), easy to change out for a better meter. My opinion on it is similar to above, its great for picking up low batteries, but for day-to-day use, get a better automatic charger.

Now my charger has the old school EZ-GO two prong charger. ScottyB doesn't offer that plug. Do I change my cart to a new style plug?
