Re: What are your thoughts on Advance Auto 6v batteries
No, just by the time I used the 40% off and subtracted the core, it was still more than me buying US Batteries locally.
Hope the website lets you use the coupon code without having to log in like it use to. I checked today while buying some parts and it wouldn't let me apply the code without logging in first. Guess if you need to, you could make six separate accounts to check out with. |

I don't see why I would need to do that? You can or use to be able to use the same code multiple times. I know I have uses the same codes a lot before in my account. I think u have even used the same coDE back to back on purchases to buy parts to get the best discount.

Re: What are your thoughts on Advance Auto 6v batteries
Did this EXACT same scenario. Batteries crapped out after 2.5 years. Plates shorted.
They are ****! I thought I got a deal at $85.00/each. Yesterday, I picked up a set of 6 Trojan T-875's. I figured since I wasted that money on those garbage batteries initially, I might as well convert it to 48 volt and get a set of real batteries. Just my 2 cents worth. |

Re: What are your thoughts on Advance Auto 6v batteries
Thanks fire/emt. I have made up my mind. I can get a set of Excide's from my buddy who owns a shop, he has a commercial account. And the amount I would save by getting them without paying the sales tax plus a better AH batter makes it a no brainer. This is of course for a shop use cart so sales tax would not apply here

Re: What are your thoughts on Advance Auto 6v batteries
no not near MB. I am going back to 36v. With these weak batteries I am happy with my speed so far. I don't want the added expense for another charger.
That's trogans Kevin?? That's a smoking price. |
