Smile Re: CC DS A8629 102604 Rebuild

Thanks Aflyer.
I've now have run into another problem. On my new steering box, when I turn the wheels all the way to the right the rubber shield top off at the end. I put a smaller zip tie in place. It still tops off. Any fix?

Got a new D&D ES81 motor on order from Revolution Golf Cars. A sponsor on here. Caint wait!

Sorry BillDurden.
I have no experience with that problem.

But, I bet Dave, Revolution Golf Cars, could answer that question for you.

Is that the same bellows in your picture/post "installed new steering rack"? There is a left and right bellows on ds racks. One is longer/more ribs than the other. You need a shorter one for the drivers side. Also a large washer between the nut and bellows helps too.

Unhappy Re: CC DS A8629 102604 Rebuild

The steering assembly will fit only one way on the cart. The long side goes on the driver side. There is no nut on this end. There is a groove on end of shaft to apply a small zip tie to the bellow, zip tie should hold the bellow in the groove.
But can not make it happen. When the shaft goes in is when the bellow p.ops of the end of shaft.

AHH. Mine have a bit of thread and a nut. But no matter, it looks, by the picture, that someone put a passenger, [long] bellows on the drivers side. You need a short one.

In the picture the bellow on the driver side is popped off the end of shaft.
