NCPW,
Thank you!

Ace,
Thank you, I would never have thought about cleaning the frame, until I saw your build thread, so thanks for the inspiration, and the product name to get me there.

It was a 4 12 volt cart, I will probably convert it to 6 8 volts, but I haven't decided how to do it yet.

In fact I was just searching this site hoping to find an example of this upgrade. I think I read that I will need to replace the 4 12 volt rack if I want to use the bolt in kit.

I think I just need some pics and specs to build a rack. I can buy and cut the angle iron and take the whole frame to my friendly local welder.

Thank you,

I'm pretty sure Revolution sells the complete frame kits for the 4/12 to 6/8 conversion.

If you would have told me Saturday morning, I would have dropped more cash on Dave and had him ship a kit to you....

Kasmir,
Thats awful nice of you, I hate it when I miss out on a golden opportunity. I guess I could just order it, and ask Dave to send you the bill.

We want pictures of the truckload you hauled away from Dave's shop.

Doesn't look like I got much done today, but lots of parts cleaning, and a little painting.

The front end parts are all cleaned and painted and ready to go together.

The pedal assembly is cleaned, painted the main pivot bar, and it is all ready to be re-installed.

The differential is cleaned, and I repainted the brake drums. Need to decide if I am going to repaint the axle housings and differential case.

Thanks for looking, all suggestions comments welcome,
Aflyer

Looks great! Unless you are building a Parade Queen, that's is as clean as it is ever gonna be. Good thing you took pictures to remember this moment by.

Tuned in from Mooresville. I am about to start a build thread on a new project as well. Fortunately the weather is getting perfect for driveway builds!

Ace,
Thanks for the kind words.

I use Krylon paints. I have some of the old stuff which is Lacquer, but I ran out of the Gloss cans. I still have 6 can of Semi-Flat.

The newer stuff is not as good, but I did go buy a couple cans today from Michael's, we will see how it works. I sure hope it is compatible.
