Also forgot to mention that a 35 watt HID bulb burns a lot cooler than a halogen bulb. Fact.

One of the many reasons why HID has always been the best solution for automotive headlights.

I would argue the point of HID's being the best solution for automotive.
Manufacturers are still mostly using standard bulbs or even LED's
I suspect that is because the ballast's tend to fail with the HID's and being a serviceable part, most people would have no clue how to replace a ballast, even though it is quite easy. Also, I would never recommend using HID's in standard light housings. The HID's should ONLY be used in projector housings.

All of you guys may be right to some degree, but this is a golf cart forum.. Not automotive!

I'll post my feedback this weekend!

This is to cut down on cost.

And even OEM LED equipped vehicles do not put out as much lumens as OEM equipped HID.

I own an OEM equipped LED car and a few OEM HID equipped cars as well.

You are right about HID bulbs in halogen housings. This is why I use to Retrofit projectors in halogen housings for money on the side when I was younger.

You're right. And I've mentioned this already.

I'm only telling you to choose wisely for your application.

I'd like to hear your review.
