Steering wheel alignment
Does anybody know how to adjust the steering wheel? Mine looks like I am turning even though I am going straight down the road. Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Re: Steering wheel alignment
Take the steering wheel off, point the tires straight, reinstall the steering wheel.
May take a couple tries. I thought I had mine straight when I installed a new steering wheel but I was wrong |

Re: Steering wheel alignment
Sounds pretty straight forward, how do you pop off the steering wheel?

Re: Steering wheel alignment
Loosen the nut in the middle, but Leaving It ON the threads. Pull the wheel towards you while rocking it. It will pop free, and the nut will keep it from smashing your face in. I usually carefully & slowly drive along a joint in the concrete parking lot. Adjust and retest until you are satisfied. Then fully tighten the nut.

Re: Steering wheel alignment
Don't be surprised if you have to pull pretty hard, about 1 out of a hundred require other more aggressive measures.

Re: Steering wheel alignment
I’ve replaced two CC steering wheels and wound up having to cut them off. Good luck on it easily coming off.
You can also straighten out the steering wheel by adjusting the length of the steering rod coming out of the rack and pinion if it’s not too far out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Steering wheel alignment
I've had a couple that were extremely difficult and would not just pull off. I used a maul to tap the nut (after loosening but not completely removing) while pulling up on the steering wheel. I added a little anti sieze when reinstalling.

Re: Steering wheel alignment
This it my #2 method, #3 is hitting backside of wheel with a hammer, #4 is cut it into smaller and smaller pieces until it comes off. I do them in chronological order, because each one is more risky to damaging stuff.
