Default 2007 cart question

Hi all,

Been a CC owner for a few years and the mother in law decided she needed an EZGO so I feel like I'm starting over......

Question......I was trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I checked each battery and I get 6.3 or so per battery when I check the stack I get a reading of 98.2......what am I doing wrong? Charger is not plugged in, if I check 2 or 3 batteries At a time I get 12-18v its only when I check from #1 positive to #6 negative do I get the wonky reading.

Cart is a 2007 TXT 36v completely stock no add ons, runs fine with no issues. All wires are good, no corrosion good continuity

Thanks!

John

What meter are you using? Try replacing the battery. I've never experienced it with my Fluke or Wavetek, but I've heard a weak battery could cause wierd readings on some DMMs.

I tried that (replace battery) and another meter. Don't remember the name but my CC 48v reads 50.9 on a fully charged stack

I got that weird reading with both meters

I can't explain this. The math of each battery reading correcctly, but the series of two or more giving wierd readings doesn't make sense. The only other thing to try is removing the pack + or - and try again, but even that doesn't make sense.

It might be some of that wireless digital electricity.

More than likely something connected to the pack is generating noise on the pack that is affecting the reading. Like the controller being on or a DC-DC converter.
