EZGO that fits in Silverado bed?
Will a standard size EZGO fit in a Silverado bed without the tailgate down? We bought our first cart (used) with a lift and mud tires. It is way too big to fit in my Silverado bed. I don't want to pull another trailer behind the travel trailer. If a standard (no lift/tire upgrade) fits, I will likely trade for one. My bed is 5.7'.

Another thing to consider is whether your tailgate will clear the TT jack if left down while turning. Also, the cart may fit in the bed, but you will need to check the swing on it is well when turning if it has a rear seat.

It's not likely. A standard, non-lifted, stock tire golf cart will fit between the fenders wells. Typical standard carts are all about 90-96" long. Without any accessories like rear seat kits, cargo boxes, etc.

Re: EZGO that fits in Silverado bed?
My buddy puts his in his Toyota Tundra and then straps the tailgate to it's at a 45 degree angle and will then clear the tongue jack of his TT.
I do the same, but I have the 6.75' F250 bed so it's not comparable to the 5.7' you have. My buddies cart has a mild lift and 10" rims with mud tires. He has to pull it in nose first, it would not fit backed in because of the rear sets. |
