Thanks. I’m guessing some replaced the proper Pie shaped potentiometer with this generic one. I’ll have to order the right one $260 is crazy

It’s like the linkage is wrong. The club car pedal only throws about 1/3 of the way through the range of the potentiometer

If memory serves me correct:
1995 and 1996 48v Club Cars had a potentiometer mounted in front of the pedal. 1995 was 0-5k. 1996 was 5k-0. 1997 saw the introduction of the multi-step (pie shaped) potentiometer mounted in the battery bay.

I can’t find a picture of what it is suppose to look like. I might have to just bend the pedal to get more travel and take the shorter range of power

It's a 48V series cart with Potentiometer.
Not a V-glide, so no pie for you!

The best I can say is the Pot could just be way out of adjustment. I have no experience with those, so can't say for sure whats going on. If moving the pot by hand makes it work properly then it's probably a linkage or adjustment issue.

Find a service manual for your cart and see if there's a section that covers proper adjustment of the linkage.

I've only dealt with that style pot on an ACG California Roadster that came through the shop. The only difference was that it didn't have the limit switch on the potentiometer housing. If it works when you manually work the switch & the potentiometer it almost has to be in the adjustment. I don't see in your pictures exactly what the link is between the pot itself and the throttle pedal itself, but maybe this will help:http://acgcars.us/support/Potentiometer_Note.pdf
