So as it turned out my chain was loose also. I’m either going to take the base bracket off or remove the gearbox from the bracket, separate the drive shaft and change the gearbox fluid (I’m also considering drilling a hole in the base bracket to remove the drain plug and drain the fluid from). I’m going to change the rear fluid while I’m at it. I’m waiting on some new hubs and bearings to come in for the front and I’ll be ready to roll (I hope). I can’t say I love it, it seams like a solid cart but I think the maintenance on it has been neglected and I’m having to play mechanic instead of enjoying it. Hopefully after all this I’ll be saying I love mine also.

I want and need to do my fluids also. I will be drilling an access hole also if needed. You hit the nail on the head. Mine wasn’t maintained either. I can tell it wasn’t ran real hard but the guy didn’t do any routine maintenance either.
