I didn't see anything in the data logs that was stopping it from going to 100%.

There most definitely is a mechanical or electrical reason for it not doing so.

Plus okay downhill but not okay uphill.

I'd probable start making sure the pedal's pivot is clean and properly lubricated and the return spring is good and then do the mechanical pedal switch and plunger depth adjustments.

I agree, JB, the pedal should respond identically up and own hills.
Unless the operator is too short legged to reach the floor going up hill ?

I know you're joking but uphill should make a shorty lean into the pedal more?

Yes- I'm joking. Less I get reprimanded for being insensitive (again).
Throttle signal cannot change up or downhill unless it is about to fall out of the cart... I'm serious here. Throttle signal is mechanical

PS I admit I have not reviewed the files but JB has and that's good enough for me

5' 10", so I don't think that's the case, although very funny. The tech from Alltrax is thinking that maybe there is water in the throttle box and causing an issue only going up hill. I did hit a pretty decent rain storm on the ride up, so that may have been an issue. When I go up tomorrow, I'll blow out the throttle box, if it's not dried out already and take it for another ride. I could have easily rested my foot on the pedal with the key off. Let me check everything this weekend and see what's up. Like i said, I'll do a few more test rides and I'll see if it goes to 100% going up hill. Do all the other numbers look okay?

70oldsracer: Let me ask you this. When you get to the top of the hill and level out do you feel a surge of power as you level out or if you let your foot off the pedal? If you do look at the throttle linearization curve in the software and see if the top end is chopped off.

No, definitely no surge

I was looking for amp limiting, but didn't see any.

With amp limiting (and RPM limiting with XCT controllers also) the throttle position is at 4095 (100%) and the throttle pointer is less than 4095. In the UP data log the throttle position only goes up to 3812 and the throttle pointer matches it, so the throttle voltage input to the controller is truly 93.1%, or about 6.28V rather than 6.00V (if everything is calibrated).

If the cart was dry on the downhill run and got wet on the uphill run, and the in-line connector still exists, there may be some cross-talk between the 48V going to the pedal switch and the ITS wires.

----------
I see global shutdown flags and over-current flags, but only when the SR is being powered up (Key switch input becomes true) and resets immediately (next line entry), so I don't think that is an issue since I've seen other SRs that do the same thing.

Other than that and the throttle acting wierd, everything else is happy.

-----------
Walter mentioned throttle linearization. My cart has a high torque motor and tiny tires, so the throttle was super sensitive and too touchy to maneuver at low speed in tight places and I change the response curve to be less sensitive during the first half of the pedal travel and added a 3% dead band at the beginning and a 2% dead band at the bottom. (curve attached)

At least I got that part right on my cart, it was hopping just about as soon as I hit the pedal then it would make me shake back and forth making the hopping worse so I did a very similar curve as JohnnieB with my stock motor and now it takes off smooth as silk.
