Default 2015 EZ GO RXV brakes locked up

Hey guys! I have read extensively on motor brake issues but I’m not convinced that’s my issue.

Recently my cart locked up as I was driving it. I tried to put it in tow and bypass 1 to 3 and 2 to 4 with no luck, so I took off the motor brake to allow it to be moved.

With the motor brake removed and unplugged, when I turn the key on, the brake lights come on and stay on. I pulled up the floor and disconnected the plugs on both the brake and gas pedals, 2 on each, and the brake light remains on even with these unplugged.

This is leading me to believe it may be something other than the motor brake.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's the motor brake... When brake goes bad brake light will stay on. Or you might have some bad wiring.

Could removing the regenerative brake solenoid on drivers side remedy the issue?

You had better stop before you destroy something. You obviously know not what you are doing!

I have the exact problem of brake lights on with both connectors disconnected. I have checked the brake circuit voltage = 48VDC and the resistance of the brake coil is 25.5 ohms so I don't think it is the brake. Any suggestions as to where I might look for bad wiring or other faults?

Theres more than volts & ohms involved in passing the startup test. The motor attempts to twist against the locked brake, if it is able to twist, the test has failed, no run, brake lights on.
