Default Voltage Reducer Issue for Lights

Alright, rear and front lights on used 09 Precedent were broken.

Purchased a pair of Rear LED lights as a replacement. Installed and nothing!

In checking the voltage coming to the rear connectors I have 24V so I'm guessing that's the problem as the lights are rated for 12V.

It appears that I have a reducer (looks like Magjax??) already installed (see first image) which appears to be harnessed into the front and rear wiring (see second image) along with this rats nest of wiring (third image)!!!!

I'm assuming the reducer is not working and needs to be replaced.

My question is, what's my best option?

Thanks in advance

I'm guessing the voltage reducer should be outputting 12v, it should be on a sticker on the reducer.
I'm also guessing the rear LED lights you installed are blown from the 24v.
Test the lights with a car battery to see if they are still working.

That is a 2-wire 16v->12v reducer (low-side reducer).

The positive for the accessories comes directly from the 16v battery connection.

The negative for the accessories connect to the reducer.

Make sure the blue accessory power wire is connected to the 16v battery connection.

Do not use pack negative when measuring the 12v.

You should consider getting a 5-wire 48v->12v Precedent specific plug-and-play harness that mounts in the same area as the one you currently have.
