Golf cart batteries
Currently I have 6 Volt Trojan T-605’s. Yes I know the cheapest ones. This cart has sat for 10 plus years. I’m really looking to just throw in a new trial set of batteries. Nothing permanent just something to get it going again.
Are the batteries size GC2? Would any GC2 6 volt work? Would marine batteries work? Who has the absolute cheapest batteries around? Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Golf cart batteries
Anything holding a charge is OK for troubleshooting.
As far as the cheapest golf cart batteries it depends on where you are. |

I should rephrase, I plan on using theses batteries for about 6 months to a year. I just want to get the golf cart to a safe area to work on. I’m located on Long Island in New York Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Anything other than golf cart batteries is going to be a total waste of money. Even a cheap set from Costco or Sam's Club will last for years if properly taken care of. I use the Value Series of golf cart batteries (Precision) from PASCO Battery. I think the closest one to you is Philly unless there is a location I can't find. |

Re: Golf cart batteries
For new, it's hard to beat Sam's Club Duracell for $90 (with core). It's mfg'ed by East Penn and is the same battery as a Deka GC10.

Right now where the golf cart sits it’s nearly impossible to work on. I want to get it to a safer location closer to my home. These are the batteries I’m looking at. Would these work? https://www.samsclub.com/p/duracell-...=plp_product_3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Golf cart batteries
Just curious. Are you saying you are going to put batteries in this cart that has been sitting 10 years and DRIVE it to another location and then begin some other work on it?
