You're running taller than stock tires, carrying heavy loads, driving over hilly terrain and might have the low pressure type ATV tires (<10PSI max inflation pressure), so there might be an amp delivery problem.

Might be a good idea to go to 2Ga cables. There are 10 high amp cable on a TXT-48, be sure to replace them all.

If any cable is more than 10°F above ambient after a hard run, it needs to be replaced.

Thanks, I will check that out. I actually asked about ugraded cables when I bought the batteries and they told me that usually for stock motors/controllers the factory 6ga was fine, I wouldnt see any gains from it. But obviously they cant know everything. I will check them as I can and see that I find.

Short of adding cryogenics and super-conductors, you will be losing power to the resistance of the conductors in the high amp circuit. There is about 20' of thick cables in a TXT-48 and with 6Ga you lose about 80W of power per 100A of current flow and with 2Ga you lose about 30W/100A. That is for cables in perfect electrical condition and six year old OEM cables are not perfect, nor are the cable connections and the solenoid contacts are undersized also.

My first upgrade was 2Ga cables with silver soldered lugs and I got a noticeable increase in acceleration even though the cart was only 3 years old when I got it and the OM cables looked to be in excellent condition.

Bottom line is the energy that heats the cables is energy the motor cannot convert to motion, so try to minimize the energy losses in the amp delivery system.
