Yamaha G14 36 to 48V upgrade and conversion, solenoid
I have a Yamaha G14 which is currently 36 volts. It is time to replace the batteries so I'd like to covert the cart to 48 volts to better handle the hills and get some additional speed. I am looking for help at what the appropriate solenoid replacement would be given the upgraded motor and controller.
Cart has 6" lift with wheel/tire upgrade. Current Motor & Controller: D&D 170-010-0002 motor Curtis 500 amp 1205M-5603 Controller Currently running a 36v White Rodgers 586-117111 (200 amp continuous, 600 amp surge) but not sure that is appropriate for the 500 amp controller. Thanks Bobby |
