Default 2017 ezgo rxv stops suddenly

My 2017 which doesn’t have a lot of use an is starting to stop suddenly at times. It seems to happen more on steep downhill rides, then when it flattens out it intermittently and suddenly stops. The brakes lockup, I have to put in tow mode in order to get it to release. Then it seems to reset itself and starts to work again. I’ve for loose connections an have found none. Batteries are fully charged. I was thinking about just changing the solenoid and maybe the start switch? Any thoughts? Thank you

If yours does this right after the battery pack was fully charged I would say the regen is putting back more voltage then the controller will allow. Thus shutting down the cart.

Interesting situation: I have the same problem with my 2011 RXV 48V. New batteries that are showing about 54.5V - 55.8V on the solenoid. I have changed the brake pedal and accelerator switches and the solenoid. The cart operates perfectly when cold or first usage of the day. After some usage or a couple of golf holes, the cart will fail to move forward or reverse. The brake is on and will not release, or permit the cart to move either forward or reverse.
I have tested and cleaned most of the wires.
I have full voltage on both sides of the solenoid when cold (or first used for the day).
I am at a point that I think it is down to the last two items, motor brake and or the Danaher Controller.

Curious if you found your problem. From what I understand that the real fix is installing a dual resistor kit from EZGO PART NUMBER IS 686593 $400. But I haven’t been able to find any information regarding it or anyone that has installed it. We have a country cabin with paved roads. When going down a steep hill with a full charge the kart will at times shutdown abruptly. If I put it in tow mode it still will not release until things cool down 3-10 minutes. It’s a pain because there are cars on the same road which insane areas only on car can get through.
That road is only two blocks long. It seems that Ezgo should fix all these karts at their costs because of the design flaw?

Thx
