Default 94 Medalist Wiring Continuity Test Question

I am continuity testing the wiring on my Medalist. The cart has an original blue wire running from the MS4 where the wire from MS2 connects to MS4 to the + side of the solenoid.

The blue wire is on the wiring diagram in the Service Parts Manual but is not on the wiring diagram I received with my Alltrax controller.

What is this wire for and is it just an error on the Alltrax wiring diagram?

Sounds like you've got a pre-1994.5 Medalist without a reed switch in the charger port.

The blue wire connected to the solenoid's battery side large terminal is the KSI (Key Switch Interlock) voltage source. On post-1994.5 series drives the reed switch is the KSI voltage source and is connected to MS-2 with a red or red/white wire.

The Alltrax schematic is labeled for Year: 1994.5 to Present at upper left, but is mislabeled 1994 to Present in box at lower right.

Leave the blue wire attached as is and disregard the reed switch area on the Alltrax schematic.

Attached are schematics for your cart, a later model series drive and the Alltrax SR schematic.
