EZGO Controller question

Hi, I am new to the board and have a question regarding ezgo controllers. My buddy has a 2001 EZGO TXT and he is getting a Navitas controller. His current controller works fine.

Question is I have a 1994 EZGO Marathon, will the 2001 controller work in my cart? If so, would I see any benefit with speed?

Any suggestions would be great

Depends on what drive system they are and what throttle type you have in the 94. 01 will be ITS. Where is his FNR switch?

His FnR switch is in the dash..... mine is in the kick plate area.

Both cart are OEM stick parts...

His on the dash means it is a PDS cart or sepex. Your cart is series. Different controller and motor.
