Default Pds help

I have an older ladies PDS cart that has been sitting for several years. Replaced the battery pack and check cables. The cart has a XCT 400 controller. Powered the cart up and the controller went through the flashes and then stayed green. Drove around the yard about 100 yds and the 50A fuse blew? What do I need to check THANKS

50 amp fuse is for the charger wire coming from the receptacle. The heavy positive wire needs to go directly to the battery post unless you have a 250 amp as well. Also the white wire going to the receptacle feeds the power to the reed switch coming back for the activation circuit..

OK This cart has a fuse between battery + and the cable going to the solenoid, and positive charging wire. The old fuse was corroded in half so I could not see the size. Should it be a 250A fuse?

One on the right is a charger fuse and goes between the battery + and the white wire. One on the left connects to the battery post and the other side to the solenoid.

If you have a car stereo shop near you they might have it.
