Default 1995 TXT New speed controller does not have A2 connection

Good morning, I have a 1995 TXT that I ordered a new speed controller for. The new one doesnt have the A-2 connector. Is it needed? and if not what do I do with the wire that runs to it?

Bolt them together and tape them off or if one of the cables is long enough just get rid of the shorter one.

1996 was first year of TXT (plastic body).
In any case a series cart has a directional switch on the passenger side hooked by a bar to the directional switch by your knee. Assuming that is what you have and not a DCS cart, the A2 isn't needed. The wire that originally came from A2 on the motor goes directly to the directional switch bypassing the controller. If the wire you have isn't long enough you can take the wire from the motor A2 and bolt it together with the original wire that went from A2 on the controller to the directional switch. Wrap it with electric tape or heat shrink.
A2 was for plug braking, useful on fork lifts but not necessary for carts.

Not needed. (Same controller was used in forklifts that used it)

Ought to be two cables on the A2 terminal. Bolt them together and insulate if the cable from A2 on motor isn't long enough to reach the C stud of the F/R switch.
