ezgo txt pds 2007 bad controller
Tested controller bad solenoid driver circuit, replaced controller. New controller ran for about 1 hour of drive time, has the same problem as old one. Any advise?

A bad solenoid can take out the driver in the controller. I had that happen on my Yamaha Drive with Moric controller.

The solenoid was new but i didn't check it when i put the new controller in. Ill have to check that. thank you. New doesn't always mean good.

Is there supposed to be a diode between the small post? There's a resistor between the big post.

Yes there should be a diode on the small posts! No diode can kill the solenoid driver transistor. The diode is there to suppress the voltage spike when the solenoid turns off.
