Default Ezgo dcs thermal shut down

Have a dcs with stock everything. After driving for a bit, that includes some hills, it shuts down. I feel the cables from controller to batteries and they’re hot. Solenoid real hot. Do I replace the solenoid and see if that solves the problem or is it a controller thing?
