Re: 97 CC DS - not going, controller bad? others?
The controller I have is not meant for larger tires or lifts (which the cart has.....). But. It has run for years like this. Maybe it's had enough?
I found a trouble light guide. I have not noticed the unit flashing any error codes, but I'll try to observe it more carefully. |

Download the Alltrax Toolkit onto your laptop. Connect it to the Alltrax controller with a printer cable. You will be able to see and verify operation of all of the controller inputs.

That only works if you have an Alltrax controller.

He does. Alltrax makes the one sold by D&D.

Re: 97 CC DS - not going, controller bad? others?
True, but the version I have is non-programmable. It is meant to be a stock replacement. I'm thinking this could be an issue as this cart was lifted and has bigger tires, and a faster motor. It really should have a heavier controller, but has ran well so far.
i'm not seeing any trouble lights out of it yet. |

I suspect he has a NCX type control which should never be paired with an aftermarket motor. |

Re: 97 CC DS - not going, controller bad? others?
I found an error code. The controller blinks a red LED 3 times - the sheet says this is "HPD. Throttle hasn't gone to zero during this power on cycle".
I"m not sure but I'm guessing it's referencing a potential issue with the V-glide? I'm asking D&D also.... |

Anyone have thoughts on the HPD issue? microswitch inside the V-glide?
