Default Electrical Problem H3 Hummer Possibly Club Car DS

I have an intermittent issue on shifting to reverse and it goes throttle wide open and obviously difficult to control. Is this the potentiometer, Controller, or shift switch?

Welcome to the forum. Can you give more details on your cart? what year, model, voltage...more the better to get good help. People are hesitate to give advice that may not be correct for your cart.

Thanks for the great advice Bama. My cart is a 2008 ACG H3 Hummer 48 volt. I think is is built on a Club Car DS frame. Any advice so very welcome

I am not familiar with that cart, but if it is a Club Car, you can use the search feature to find "Petitiometer testing" to find procedures.
