Advice on front suspension
Installed 6" lift kit factory told me to thread heim joint in until only 4 threads were showing said the further out they go the more strain. I did but when I try to adjust the camber the back measures 37 3/4 front 36 3/4 and there is no adjustment left in the tie rod.
Back tire are now further out then the front if it doesn't hurt handling I'm fine Options 1) cut the tie rod 1/2" from each end 2) cut 1 1/4 out of the center use Jb Weld to piece it back together 3) move the heim joints out 1/2"+ each side plus the bottom ones. 7E5A7E6C-94DC-413F-9025-015D31B8EF6F.jpg 132FF98B-31CC-4D43-AE10-4378A35DB03E.jpg |

Re: Advice on front suspension
I would have to guess they meant to say adjust so the No More than 4 threads are showing.
Always adjust hiem joints All the way IN to start with, and adjust Out from there if necessary to set your camber angle. |
