Default 1998 g19e won't go.

My niece has a yamaha g19e. She loaned it to my parents while I was fixing theirs. The first day she had it back it quit on her. My brother had me look at it for her and there was nothing wrong it was working fine. The next day she was driving it again for like 30min and it went out. This time I was able to see that it wasn't working. It did start working again and I tested the solenoid. I forget the ohms reading but a post said that if you are getting a reading higher than 0.4 than it's bad.

A new solenoid was installed and it moved 2 feet than shut off completely but then worked again a few minutes later then cut off and would not come on again. I thought I might have a bad solenoid as I bought a cheap Chinese knockoff but I bench tested it and it's working fine.

I tested the TPS it works fine. With actuation I get good readings from 0-5k.

While I had the floor panel off I tested the accelerator stop switch. It's good.

I tested the tow/run switch, it's good too.

The F/R switch also checks out. Checked the inline fuse and the key just to be thorough, both working.

Only thing left is the motor and controller. My brother gave me the thumbs up to borrow an identical controller from another cart. It was getting power the solenoid was clicking but cart not moving then the solenoid stayed engaged then cut out, I think I might have fried the controller.

From what i read it looks like the motor may have a short, any help would be appreciated.

You should check the battery voltage under load. More likely than not, weak batteries.

Forgot to mention it but the batteries are fine. I had checked them first thing. But to be sure I'll try these batteries in my parents CC that I know is running.

Yeah so it is definitely not the batteries. I also tested the loaner controller I thought I fried and it was fine. Thankfully. Completely confused as to what the issue would be. Any help would be appreciated
