anybody ever make a bottom plate for the clutches, having a hell of a time with the snow in the clutches and them slipping alot. also, wouldnt that make the heat from the engine go into the cab a little more

Re: bottom plate for snow
Heat RISES on it's own, so a plate won't help that part.

Re: bottom plate for snow
Yeah, we got plenty right now, and the only things slipping on mine are the 50 series street tires. My cart is electric, eh?

Re: bottom plate for snow
maybe, any water or mud, snow will effect the performance of the belt and clutches
gonna get me a peice of tin and try to cover "just the clutches" and see how it works. |

Re: bottom plate for snow
Later model EZGO's had an extended skip plate that offered added protection to the clutches...

Re: bottom plate for snow
copy that on the slippage gorno, just got me some 22x11.5-10 semi aggressive tires and when they got here, i would hate to see the aggressive tread, or even the medium tires, these things are like quad raceing tires, to much for my liking but GREAT for chugging through the drifts! already paid for them and they look good on the cart
