plugged muffler could be a sign of running too much oil in the gas too. what ratio are you running

I tapped mine with a piece of 2x2 after it cooled, it didn't dislodge a whole lot of ash or carbon (maybe a few tablespoons worth), just be sure you do it in several positions as some will come out the intake and some will come out of the outlet
