Drive Clutch Shaft Damage
Hey, guys, put a few gouges on the drive clutch shaft when I was holding it with a pipe wrench to tighten down the puller to get the clutch off. I know, bonehead. Wondering, does this need to be smoothed back out to avoid belt damage, or does the belt slide off the shaft enough to not run on the gouges.

Re: Drive Clutch Shaft Damage
you will have to smooth it out so the clutch will close properly.

Re: Drive Clutch Shaft Damage
Yes file it down till it's very smooth, and make sure the clutch slides in and out all the way with out hanging up
