Default Just got another Yamaha

Just traded for a 1991 G9 gasser,,,kinda rough but has potential, home made shade tree lift, 4- 22X11X8 tires and offset wheels, steel utility bed, rattle can camo.
Has a drivers side broke axle, 450SL said he has one maybe get it. I haven't tried to start it yet but the previous owner said it runs great. Needs lube in the front wheel bearings, oil change before I start it up, gas is fresh, throttle cable a little questionable, good belts, fairly clean. We'll see soon.

Axle is on the way today, you should have told me about the accelerator cables! Did you get the broken spline peice out of the center section? Sometimes you can drill a 1/8" hole and use a wood screw to pull it out. Front wheel bearings are one peice and sealed, if bad, replace them. Lets see a pix of the engine compartment.

Yea I know Scotty, but my Marathon 2 stroke yard cart is on it's last leg, barely runs, just about wore out I needed something to pull the trailer around and pick up leaves and limbs. The Electric Yamaha was giving me an ulcer never wanted to run when I needed it and I dont really care for Electric carts. This Gasser is not a beauty but should work well for the yard.
