Thanks Ron, you know you are one reason I've stayed here so long. When you have members like you,Jeff,Rodger,Crash,GP,Scottyb,Ess, ect...you can't help to get into the "spirit" of helping if you can.

Well it's running, I got it finished this afternoon. Got to replace all the motor mounts but it runs. It has a weird action when I let off the gas, a little bucking, may be because of the motor mounts. The little stock engine isn't much but with the shadetree lift it has I wouldn't want to go fast. The gearing is 1 turn of the axle is 7 turns on the driven, I don't think this is going to pull my Yard trailer very good, a little more fixing up and it may go on the block.

That should have a lot more Umph. My Dad just raked 10 acres of oats with the Hauler not recommended). Is the tension tight?

May be better with new motor mounts, the engine slides back about 1/2 inch under full throttle in neutral and belt dosen't make it to the top of the Drive or driven clutch. It has issues, but I'm working on it,,,along with the other builds.......

Also may need an engine tensionor cable. The airbox sealing is critical on the G2/G9/G8's. All straps/hooks/lid/lid seal must be there. A great test is to unhook the airbox hose at the carb and run it, If it runs better and has more power, the air box needs some attention. Let me know before I send off the header.

Engine tensioner cable????? didn't see one?? I'll try the air box thing in the morning, so if it runs better it needs some attention, clean the filter, install a new filter, seal the box? I did notice some tie wraps holding the top of the air box on, I haven't checked the filter, will in the morning. I did not reattach the gov cable, is that a problem?
