Instructions for RXV hitch install?

We just got a hitch for the 2009 RXV from Golf Cart King. No instructions included. Called them, they didn't have them either, but said they'd contact the warehouse and email them. That was yesterday, still no joy. Wanted to make some progress on this project this weekend.

I'm sure some of you have already done this mod. Can't find any pics online showing the installation. Only two bolts are exposed on the frame where the hitch would mount. I'm thinking some of the plastic material has to be removed.

Anyone got a copy of the instructions, or pics of what material had to be removed? Did the bag well have to be removed to cut the plastic?

Will do. I'll post some pics when the work gets done. This one is officially going on the back burner for the moment. Got enough projects lined up this weekend.

Everybody and their brother sells this same hitch, no pics or instructions online anywhere. Weird.

Of course. Most everything is made in China, but I usually get a poorly written instruction shrreet.

Nope. Never head back from Golf Cart King. Been over a week. I'll call them again Monday. They may be a sponsor of this forum, but the customer support is lacking.

I give fair an honest reviews on Amazon (hitch was purchased there), on various forums, YouTube, and on my own personal website. I'm hoping they come through on Monday, otherwise...

Working on other projects in the meantime.

I have seen some of these advertised as "Simple bolt on" but have seen some posts like this one: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...worthless.html

Maybe the amount of difficulty depends on the hitch brand. I would continue research before you start cutting on your cart. Also if it isn't readily apparent that the hitch easily bolts on to pre-punched holes in the cart I would question if you have the correct hitch.

Did it ever get resolved? I called Red Hawk (who I got it from) and they were clueless.

I was told to take off the rear portion of the leaf spring and it attaches there, but the measurements don't add up.

I'm stuck in the same boat as you are.
