Default 2ga Battery Cable Question

Bought a set of 2ga cables from CartsUnlimited/ScottyB.

Need to make a new cable that is slightly longer. Are golf carts 2AWG? or 2/0? Assuming CCA is a no-go and pure copper welding cable is fine. Would 2AWG welding cable offer roughly the same conductance as a 2ga ScottyB cable?

I did see 2awg welding cable is only rated for something like 200A - the fuse on my 48v setup is 250A provided with the SR48500/wiring kit from Cartsunlimited - that's what made me nervous and ask this question.

2ga is smaller in diameter than 2/0. Stock cart cables are normally 6ga. Next size up is 4ga then 2ga

Right - I have upgraded 2ga - needing a longer one and wanted to make sure I was buying the right gauge to match. My golf cart isn't currently at my house so I can't read any labels on the wire.

Was hoping someone with 2ga cables could confirm if they are 2awg or 2/0.

Thing to keep in mind when sizing cable is distance of the run matters as well. Just a FYI.

I got my special length cables from BatteryCablesUSA. Very reasonable prices and the cables are well made and high quality IMO.

10-4. Only need to replace a 2ft cable with one 3ft long so distance should be fine.
