What year is your Carryall? , looks like fairly late model from your pictures? It must be 12 volts battery voltage but is this a factory wiring or after market? Sounds like a bad ground or power supply problem if ALL lights are out? There should be a ground wire running from outside of each light back to battery minus ( NOT the wiring running inside light housing ). I used to check for ground by using test lights connected to frame and touched to outer housing of light and if it lights you have a bad ground. Check the ground connection to battery minus terminal. Also try taking flasher unit out and put in jumper wire and see if lights come on without it. This would mean not enough resistance to make flasher work.
OLD WIRING CAN BE A PROBLEM.
Good Luck.

it is a 95. and as far as i know it is original. the lights work as far as turning on and doing as they should in that sense. however as soon as i use try to turn to a side.. that side light goes out and does not flash. then as soon as i put the lever back to the non turning location the lights go back on. each bulb works and all of that. but i am not familiar with the whole flasher unit and how that works. a diagram of some type would be awesome and really help me out on diagnosing this problem... and i know all of the grounds are good with no problems there.

Question do you have 2 or 3 wires going into tail light housing? If its 2 that is your problem maybe depending on who made lights?

well.. old mec... i thought i had it all done.. but it still doesnt work... so maybe you can help me... i took a few pics of everything... my wire colors are as follows (this is how they were set up originally):
Red-front blinker
Green-front blinker
Black-ground
Black-(not the ground black) rear blinker
Gray-rear blinker
Blue-to flasher
yellow-to flasher
gray with black stripe...i dont know what that is.. i thought power... put that just puts the lights on...

now i dont have a 3 pronged flasher... i have 2 singular flashers with 2 prongs each. i figured i could hook one up for the lefts... like one to the blue wire. and then one to the yellow wire.

can i do that.. and do i put the ground to the flashers or power... my original setup when i got it had the ground coming off the flasher. but the diagram i was looking off of that you sent old mec has the power. im at a loss here... i have no idea what i should do at this point.. take a look and let me know what you think...

this last one is the flasher plug... which id like to redo... using 2 flashers... but any help would be appreciated..
