![]() installed upgraded curtis controller.throttle goes fast when first touched,slower when pushed down. help would be greatly appreciated, Thanx, John

![]() You have the wrong controller for your cart. the throttle input is programmed reverse from what you have..... what cart do you have? What controller do you have?

![]() okay, so here is the problem... your ezgo cart has a throttle input signal of 5K-0 ohms that it sends to the controller as you press the peddle. This is how the controller knows what position the gas peddle is in and how much amperage to release to the motor.....
Club car used 0-5k ohms for the same process. You guessed it ![]() ![]() Hope you can get the right one easy enough ![]() |

![]() I think the easiest thing to do is to pull the spade clips off the controller and check the resistance as you press down on the accelerator pedal. For your cart you should see a gradual change from 0 ohm to 5000 ohm as the pedal is depressed. I would check this before doing anything else.
