Hard starting 95 ezgo gasser!!!

Guys, I need some help. My 95 ezgo gasser does not want to start. I have to barely ease into the pedal and sort of feather it to get it to take off. If I just jump on and put the pedal half down even once warmed up it wont go and smells gassy. Once its running it goes fine, it's just hard to get started either hot or cold.

One week ago I cleaned the carb and that seemed to help but a week later its back to the same thing. Did I simply get some bad gas? Some other problem that cleaning the carb just helped cover up? Any ideas?

Its also had the valves adjusted, new fuel pump, and new plugs.
