Speed sensor and magnet

The ADC motor is a lot easier, you can certainly see the screws that hold the Hall effect speed sensor to the motor, just look at the new one you got.

The problem with the GE motors is that the sensor is pressed in place, the screws you see on the end of the motor should not be removed in that case.

Also, turn the Tow/Run switch to TOW before plugging and unplugging the speed sensor as the speed sensor is powered by the controller.

Ok, I changed out the speed sensor and put a new magnet in. The process was very simple, only trouble was the screw at the top of the speed sensor(not much room between the screw and the frame). Speed problem solved! Got 19mph after the change out. Well worth $84.
