We ended up changing the ignition switch. It also seems the battery has an affect on it.

Hey Pumper I see your from the Villages that's where my parents lived and my golf cart came from. I hope your still in the group I just wanted to thank you for the post you've given me new hope in finding my voltage problem. I installed and amp on my golf cart and it keeps cutting out from over voltage. When I put the amp in I also re wired the radio remote buttton to the key switch so I'm going to unhook that first and go from there. Take Care.
