03 pds wont run
My cart lost power while driving. after noticing the solenoid wasn't clicking I swapped it and the resistor out. needless to say....it still doesn't work! here are some of the symptoms:
1. it stopped after hitting large bump....makes me think wire connection. 2. resistor is super hot almost immediately after connecting neg. bat cable 3. after it died it work in only reverse after turning key off/on. then not working at all. since then, while testing, it has twice lurched in reverse while switch was in forward. Hopefully these all point to a probable cause....ive ordered a new f/r switch to try out. I'm not electrically saavy, but want to give it a shot before going to a shop. I don't want to chase my tail to long so thanks for any help/advice you can send my way! |

Resistor burning hot without pressing pedal = should be failed controller.

if that is the case....do you think charging the batteries in this condition is a good or bad idea?

You can charge the batteries with no problems
