Default Yamaha Drive Black Roof

Just wondering if anyone knows of a Yamaha Drive roof that can be purchased in black that retains the factory rain gutters?

My cart is a 2008, I noticed that they updated the roof on the 2010, but they still only come in one color it appears. The new 2015 carts seem to have some color options to their roofs, but I am sure they are significantly different.

I have attempted a few different methods to paint mine, but none seems to be a permanent fix. I would just bite the bullet if there was one that was painted and kept the rain spouts.

Thanks

The new black top will bolt right up on your 2008.

Was just checking and JW1-XK83A-20-00 was the number I came across as a black roof for the 2015 Drive.

After doing a little reverse searching, it appears that is for a YDREX5AC_P cart. Not sure if that is still compatible with a 2008 YDRA or not or what the _P in the cart ID means.

Maybe I jumped the gun a bit.

Don't have a part number handy for the new black top, your's could be right. I guarntee it will bolt up correctly. The problem is they are on back order at this time

I am probably going to go for it. I have only been able to find it online at a few places so far. Might end up being a buy now and install in the spring.

Cheap Yamaha parts is the most reasonable place online so far. Boats.net does not even list it yet, have bought a bunch off of them already.

Anybody on here have a preferred supplier online for these factory parts?

Thanks

The new roof is slightly different (it might be slightly different for certain things like enclosures, rear windows, overhead radio consoles). I can confirm that the "new style" roof will bolt up to your current roof supports, and will work with your current drain tubes.

I had my tan top on my 2015 sprayed with LineX. Turned out great and cost me $200.
You should look into that. Im sure the new black top cost more than that.

It does cost more than that, but not much. That is a great alternative.

I washed my roof with tri sodium phosphate and used 3M paintable undercoat 2 years ago and still looks perfect.

I know many who have had success with plasti dip.
Just a suggestion, has to be cheaper than a new top.
