Default carb questions

Im trying to find a carb kit for 99 g16, any ideas lots for the g1-g9
but not much for the g16

depending on how bad the carb is, you might get buy with some fuel mix. additives. i use the Gum Out carb cleaner all the time, i think its 2oz per 4gal.. when i got my 97g16 it ran bad, after only i tank, it did clean, and the cart now runs perfect, never took it apart. first tank i went a little strong on the mix. steve

Well, i dont know the origins or contents of these "kits" (could be china stuff, could be a nice little collection of genuine Yamaha parts), but i do know Yamaha doesnt offer any carb "kits", they sell every piece seperately.

From the CCP webpage...

Carburetor kit for the Yamaha G-16 and Up. These are genuine Yamaha parts to restore your carb to like new condition. Includes Fuel inlet needle, Bowl gasket and Bolt gasket.
