Re: 2011 yamaha ydre
sounds like you already have a plan, not too bad either. the stock controller was/is my least favorite factory controller (followed by g14 controller).

Re: 2011 yamaha ydre
Around my neck of the woods a 2011 ydre with new batts and everything else stock is going for 2600 to 3200 depending on whether or not it has custom paint, enclosure, radio etc... So I would think that at the money you already spent and a new controller you would still be way ahead of the curve as far as value of the cart.

Re: 2011 yamaha ydre
Do you have a suggestion on a controller? My cart is going to be strictly for trailering to and from the course. I'd prefer not to sink a lot of money into it if I can. I'm not trying to be cheap, it's a difference of time, meaning the more money I have to invest in a controller, the longer it's going to be until I can pony up the money to get it.

Re: 2011 yamaha ydre
I have a 2010 ydre stock controller if you are interested for very cheap. It worked perfectly prior to me upgrading. I know the controllers can be very pricey.

Re: 2011 yamaha ydre
Definitely interested. It would be something to get me by for a bit until I do upgrade. What are you wanting for it?

Re: 2011 yamaha ydre
I replied to your pm. Gtech, the stock ydre controller from a 2010 will work fine for his 2011, right? I don't want to ship him an expensive paper weight
