Question Yamaha on Craigslist. Thoughts?

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/sat/rvs/5725293198.html

Says it bogs down under full throttle/high speed. Could this just be a carb cleaning and tune up? Or something more serious?

This fits my budget perfect, depending on the repairs. Thoughts?

This would be a new adventure (the "repair").. Hoping a few folks on here might know the fix.. But i'm with you. It seems like it'd be something simple.

What I don't want is to have a "valve" or "head" problem or problem of that type of caliber..

It may not be running right because the little straps are missing from the airbox also their is part of the air box missing
But the cart looks like a real good deal.

The carbs on those carts act up with even the slightest amount of trash in the fuel system. That is a good price if it's not smoking or clanging.

It's hard to tell if it's a G2 or a G9. The G2 has a rev limiter which may be coming into play...

Can that rev limiter be bypassed at all?

I think so, but I don't know how or what parts are involved.

The front cowl trim is G2. The black steering wheel/column looks like G9.

I had a g2 that was hitting the rev limiter (broken primary weight wasn't allowing drive clutch to close all the way) but once that was fixed even with govener nut cranked all the way down it would never hit the rev limiter it's really not that big of a deal to have it
